Green and Sustainable Building Panel Manufacturer | Estonia

The project is the first manufacturer in the world of load bearing construction panels made from recycled textile and plastic waste. They seek Eur 171 million for two factories in Estonia. Their product outperforms traditional building materials but has ⅓ the CO2 level and is fully recyclable at the end of life. The factories will source textile waste from the Nordic and Baltic countries and sell panel product back to these markets. Estonia was chosen for the location due the local government grant of Eur 39M, strength of the local partners, low operating costs, and proximity to the sources of textile waste. Eur 4 million has been spent to date on product and market development. The team is experienced professionals with engineering, financial, and local market experience. The product has been fully developed and tested, 70 tons has been manufactured on a pilot basis with a solid list of customer pre orders. The construction and commissioning timeline for the factories is estimated at 18-24 months. This investment represents a unique opportunity to significantly impact textile waste levels in Europe while at the same time transforming the built environment to a more sustainable model.
