About this opportunity
This is a mixed-use real estate project to develop and construct 10,000 units of multifamily housing in Angola. The promoter and sponsor of this project is a Western European developer that has been developing real estate properties in Africa for over 10 years. This project consists of over 3,000 partly constructed apartments and 1,000 Villas which are valued at USD$157 Million “as is” presently. Additionally, the project includes a modern shopping mall, retail shops/outlets, police and fire stations, Elementary/Primary and Secondary/High schools, health centers, and leisure/entertainment facilities of international standards. This developer assures best quality and cost efficiency by utilizing a model that shifts construction to a production system through offsite manufacturing, and minimizing on-site construction by extensively using pre-cast technology to produce large wall sections in purpose-built factories in the local country and then assembling onsite. This system also generates employment for the local communities both at the factory sites and at the project site. The developer has already secured financially stable and reliable off-takers for the project. In addition, the developer has obtained a quality and reliable EPC company that has already provided a performance guarantee for the project.
