UK Based company with Canadian Subsidiary in Alberta, Canada has invested USD22m into a biofuel project. In addition Grant Monies expected from Canadian Authorities of USD20m. Company will build a 45-50 tons an hour capacity Biofuel production plant in Alberta using the forestry assets it owns to provide the feedstock required for the process. Forestry assets held in Canada have been valued at circa USD80m. Company owns 60 acres for the site to be built together with 5 million acres of forestry for the feedstock. The entire output from the proposed plant will be pre-sold on a ten-year offtake contract at an inflation- linked floor price of approximately USD230 per ton. Company uses proven technology and has Top Tier EPC and Operational and Management companies to build and operate the facility. Carbon free energy supply with no greenhouse emissions into the atmosphere. Experienced management team including the main sponsor who has successfully built a solar energy facilty and a Biomass facility . Both these opportunties were sold to a PE investor.
